Based on the Central Coast of California, I grew up in San Luis Obispo and studied Environmental Systems and Policy at UC San Diego's Scripps Institution of Oceanography. In my four years as a Triton, I played NCAA Division I soccer for the UCSD Women's Soccer Team. After completing my senior thesis and four years as a collegiate athlete, I decided to pursue a fifth year abroad — studying art and Italian at the University of Bologna and the Accademia di Belle Arti.

I have built my career in sustainability, environmental communications, and marketing with a focus on regenerative agriculture in California, dedicating my senior thesis at UCSD to regenerative agriculture certification. As I develop my environmental communication career in the agricultural industry, I am constantly looking for ways to engage the public, strengthen communities, connect private and public sectors, and enhance education surrounding complex scientific topics. I believe that in order to make meaningful progress in growing these sustainable, regenerative movements, we must focus on community building through storytelling, closing the supply chain gaps between producers and consumers, and simplifying complex scientific topics to keep the public educated, engaged, and inspired.

What I keep coming back to is this: meaningful progress in sustainable and regenerative movements requires community, storytelling, and education that actually reaches people. Not just those working and studying in these fields, EVERYONE. This is the core message behind Caring is Intelligence, and I am so grateful to be able to share this piece of me with you.
